Requirements
Access to movingimage Analytics and VideoManager Pro.
Objective
If a specific video or channel are not visible in Analytics, please follow this process to solve this issue.
Step-by-step guide
1. Channel Embed Code: The channel-ID must be integrated into the embed code of the website where the video is hosted or embedded. This ensures that analytic's tracking mechanisms are linked to the specific channel and its associated videos. (See for example the standard embed/ iframe code in VideoManager Pro)
2. One Play: For Analytics to successfully track plays, at least one "play" must be recorded for a video linked to the specific channel during the selected time period.
This would be important for the channel filter on the dashboard. See the example from the screenshot-
Here it will just show the list of channels where at least one play for one of the videos which belongs to the channel have been tracked in the last 24h. If you want to see the result for longer time period, please change it (like in the screenshot).
3. Enabling the Consent Banner is also mandatory requirement to track Analytics data according to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
