Question
If a user registers to the event, has it directly access to the event?
Answer
Using the registration function does not result in the person gaining immediate access, but only appears on the list as registered. If participation is desired, the person must be set to "Allowed". Alternatively, you can allow attendees by default.
Question
Can I add the attendees to the guest list AND send to them the registration form?
Answer
The upload/insertion of participant information to the guest list replaces the registration by the participants.
If the person is on the guest list, then no further registration can take place, otherwise, there would be duplication. One excludes the other.
Question
What is the difference between a "normal" user, a speaker, and a host of the event?
Answer
Hosts have access to the cockpit and they can prepare and manage an event, having all possible rights. Speakers have access to the backstage, can record an event, and can stream out from the event.
Question
As host, how can I give a special role (like host or speaker) to a user?
Answer
You can both give a specific role from the event itself or if you use the gust list function on access control, just click on the "new user" and select the right role before confirming.
