Objectives:
In case, the user has an existing account (email) created via movingimage Single Sign-On and the client Identity Provider is migrated/ changed to new IDP - movingimage will prompt the user to link the existing account to new IDP.
The linking of account is also required when the user wants to login to the platform with multiple IDPs. This is one-time process requested at the first login to new IDP with an existing account.
Step-by-Step guide:
1. Access the login links as provided by your internal administrator in an incognito window to avoid any caching issues.
Note:
Login Links would be same for CorporateTube as well as Webcast Consumer.
However, login links could be updated for VMPro, Webcast Manager and Webcast Operator.
2. You will be prompted with the below message in case your account needs to be linked.
3. In the mail box, you can find the similar email as shown in the below screenshot -
Please note the the link to confirm the account will be valid for 1 hour. Please check Spam folder in case you do not find the email in the inbox.
4. You can directly click the link from the email or copy & paste it in an incognito window to confirm. After successful account linking, you will see the following confirmation which then enables the login to platform.
