Subtitles are not visible in the player
A .srt file was created with an external tool and then uploaded to VideoManager Pro. However, the subtitles are not visible in the player.
Solution
Ensure that the .srt follows the format below and is not corrupted:
- The .srt should look like this:
1
00:00:05,000 --> 00:00:08,000
This is an example text 1
2
00:00:09,000 --> 00:00:12,000
This is an example text 2
- Do not use a word processor (such as Microsoft Word) to create/edit a .srt file. These apps use invisible control characters that destroy a .srt whenever you directly save it as a .srt, or copy and paste it in the subtitle editor of VideoManager Pro. Always use simple text editors or the subtitle editor in VideoManager Pro.
- Ensure that the file name of the .srt doesn't contain any special characters or spaces. If the file name contains special characters or spaces, please upload a new .srt with an optimized file name.
