If you lack the necessary permissions, certain features or sections within VMPro will be inaccessible.
With administrative privileges, you can navigate to 'Users' to locate your account. Here, you can view the groups you're a part of and your corresponding role within each group. To review the permissions associated with your role, go to 'Roles' in Administration.
As you can see in the screenshot, Editors can access the Player Generator section for configuring players but are restricted from accessing the administration area, which includes f.e. user and role management.
By accessing the Menu at the top right, you can see the areas you have access to.
You can have permission to video deletion, archiving, and replacement features.
As observed in the screenshot, Editors are allowed of duplicating videos but not to archive or delete them.
'Uploader' has the right to upload and publish videos, with the added functionality of video replacement, as indicated in the screenshot. If you encounter issues despite having the necessary permissions, it may be due to caching problems. In such cases, clearing the cache and using an incognito window(private window) is recommended.

If you previously had access to a feature but find it inaccessible now (e.g., a greyed-out button), consider the following:
- Caching issues might be the reason. Clear the cache and try using an incognito window, or attempt accessing the feature using a different browser.
- Verify the role assigned to you. If you do not have access to the Administration section, contact your internal administrator to review your permissions. It might be an option that your role does not have this permission anymore.
- Before reaching out to the PS Team, inspect the network tab in the developer tools for any error messages, like in the guideline explained: https://support.movingimage.com/hc/en-150/articles/13381814850204-Developer-Tools
