Problem
I have updated the thumbnail of a video. I can see the new thumbnail in the preview player of my VideoManager Pro account if I open the video on a new page I still see the old thumbnail (e.g. if I open a share-link or in the player in the website, where the video is embedded).
Cause
This may be because of a caching issue on the CDN side. It may be that This means that when you call a website where the video is embedded, the Edge-Server where the video is hosted in your location still has the old thumbnail in its cache. The caching in the Edge-Server is temporary, which means that the updated thumbnail will be available in all locations after a short time.
Users who watch the video from different locations (therefore from a different Edge-Server) will already see the new thumbnail even though you still see the old one.
Solution
You do not need to do anything. Just try to call the URL in a few hours, after having emptied your browser's cache.
In case you urgently need the thumbnail to be updated throughout the entire Content Delivery Network, contact the support team indicating the video's ID (How to retrieve the ID of your video).
