Objective
You wish to embed a Zoom call on your main stage and/or in one (or more) rooms of the event.
Step-by-step guide - How to embed a video call on the main stage
- Go to your cockpit
- Select your event
- On the left navigation menu, select "main stage"
- Select "Video Conference" as format of the main stage (default)
- Insert a maximum number of participants
- Toggle the Zoom call slider
NOTE If Zoom call is not toggled, a video conference will be embedded to the main stage using Jitsi, our default built-in video conference tool.
- Insert the Zoom meeting number and its password
- You will get a pop-up notification that your changes have been saved. No need to save the changes.
- Now, to check if the configuration you set is right, click on "enter event" button on the top right
- On the left navigation bar, click on "main stage"
- Click on "enter main stage"
- If the Zoom number and password are correct, you will join the Zoom call, otherwise you will be notified with an error message.
Step-by-step guide - How to embed a video call in a room
- From the left navigation menu in the event, click on rooms
- Select the room, which you wish to embed the Zoom call to (or create a new one)
- From the pop-up window, click on the configuration icon
- Select edit
- From the left navigation menu on the room editing pop-up window, select "video call"
- toggle the Zoom call slider
NOTE If Zoom call is not toggled a Jitsi video conference will be embedded to the room, which is our default built-in video conference tool.
- Insert the Zoom call number and its password
- Click on save
- You will enter the room automatically. If the Zoom number and password are correct, you will join the Zoom call, otherwise you will be notified with an error message.
